Our most recent meeting had a large number of attendees, it was so great to see new and familiar faces around the room.

Our general meetings follow a formal structure and we always begin the meeting with the singing of the Black National Anthem, a powerful and necessary exercise.

After the completion of introductions, members hear from the board directors as they review and relay their reports of notable activities they have completed or been a part of since the previous meeting.

There was great discussion and informed questions asked of new and existing members alike. Numerous items were tabled to the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

As we prepared to adjourn the meeting many members were able to partake in a variety of food and refreshments that were graciously brought by President Elect Mrs. Kenny Daodu.

Once complete, many members took time to chat with each other about the Congress and their lives in general, it was very inspiring!

We look forward to seeing all members and potentially new members at the AGM on Saturday March 30, 2019!

We had a previous member and a new member attend (who found us via our Facebook page).
